Westerlay Orchids Donates Kokedama Class Proceeds to Carpinteria Arts Center

All the proceeds from a recent bilingual kokedama orchid ball class at the Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center were donated back to the center, courtesy of Carpinteria’s Westerlay Orchids.

The class was held last Saturday and was attended by 19 students. Instructors Paige Harmon and Mayra Romero taught participants how to create a moss ball with a hanging orchid; the center is aiming to host another kokedama orchid ball class in the fall.
